WINE SCHOOL 005: SOULFUL SOUTH AMERICAN WINES WITH BRAZOS WINE IMPORTS

You know it, you love it: it’s Wine School, and we are back for March. We will be starting off Third Coast Soif week 2024 with a guided tasting and lecture with Brian Ravitsky of Brazos Wine Imports.

Brazos Wine Imports is a four person outfit based between Denver and New York City. The group imports wine from thirteen different families located in some of the most exciting sub-regions of Argentina and Chile: Jujuy, Tunuyan, Casablanca and Maule Valleys.

With a focus on artisanal, estate grown wines, the Brazos book offers a plethora of surprises from the two titans of South American winemaking.

You can always expect more than just mountainous Malbec! The wines we will taste represent an old world, terroir-centric style - all unique qualities to find in South America.
